BLOG ARCHIVE | Worldwide Sponsors Scholarship Program, Honoring Industry Pioneer
The Howard Bernstein Scholarship Fund was established in 2012, providing scholarships to students pursuing a career in material handling, logistics, or the supply chain field.
Howard Bernstein was a pioneer in the material handling industry and was a great influence to the founder of Worldwide Material Handling. He was passionate about providing support to educate the future workforce for the industry. This scholarship program helps keep Mr. Bernstein’s legacy alive by assisting young adults with breaking into and understanding this critically important industry.
The Fund is managed and administered by the Material Handling Education Foundation, Inc., an IRC 501C3 charitable organization. Since 2012, support granted from this scholarship fund has exceeded $290,000.
Worldwide Material Handling is the proud sponsor of the “Elite” tier in the Howard Bernstein Scholarship, awarding $5,000 each year to a student pursuing education in material handling.
This year’s scholarship has been awarded to Grace Voth for her journey to Oklahoma State University. Congratulations to all the recipients and best of luck with your future in the industry!
